June 2

2000 - Actor Courtney Thorne-Smith and Andrew Conrad, in Lanai, Hawaii. Thorne-Smith and Conrad exchanged wedding vows in an impromptu garden ceremony on the Hawaiian island of Lanai. They were traveling on vacation with some family and friends. The couple had not applied for a stateside wedding but was able to find a minister who would perform the ceremony. They divorced a year later.

1989 - Actor James Woods and equestrian Sarah Owen. The two met in 1985 at a gas station in California. Owen was 16 years younger than Woods. The controversial relationship ended in a messy divorce four months later.

1952 - Actress Angie Dickinson and football player Gene Dickinson, in Burbank, Calif. The two married after dating for 10 months. They divorced in 1960.

1951 - Actress Myrna Loy and businessman Howland H. Sergeant. The well-established actress became involved with Sergeant when they worked together for the UNESCO delegation. This was Loy's fourth marriage. The couple divorced in 1960.

1886 - Former president Grover Cleveland and Frances Folsom, in Washington, D.C. Cleveland married Folsom in the Blue Room of the White House.The happy couple spent their honeymoon in a private cabin at Deer Park Lodge in the Catoctin Mountains of Maryland. The bride is still to this day the youngest first lady in history, at just 21 years old, and the two were the only couple to wed in the White House. Cleveland was 49.

June 3

2004 - Actors Anna Faris and Ben Indra. The two met while filming the horror movie "Lovers Lane." They divorced in 2008. Faris claims that fame was the reason for the separation.

2001 - Actress Tina Fey and composer and producer Jeff Richmond, in Philadelphia, Pa. The two met while working for Chicago's Second City improve theater. They had a Greek orthodox ceremony in a Philadelphia gothic-style mansion. The couple works together on "30 Rock" and has two daughters, Alice and Penelope.

2001 - Singer Tom Petty and Dana York, in Las Vegas. Petty met York when she came to one of his concerts and married her a couple years later, following a sold-out Heartbreaker's concert series. The wedding ceremony was small, attended only by 20 family members and some close friends. A dinner reception followed at a nearby steakhouse.

1994 - Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder and musician Beth Liebling, in Rome, Italy. Vedder married his longtime girlfriend, Beth Liebling, in Rome. The couple divorced after 16 years together in 2000.

1989 - Singer Reba McEntire and guitarist Narvel Blackstock, in Lake Tahoe, Nev. McEntire married her manager and former steel guitar player in a private ceremony on a boat on Lake Tahoe.

1939 - Actress Merle Oberon and producer Alexander Korda. Korda persuaded Oberon to change her name from Queenie O'Brien to Merle Oberon, which contributed to her success including a nomination for an Academy Award. The couple divorced in 1945. Oberon remarried shortly after.

1937 - The Duke and Duchess of Windsor Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, in Indre-et-Loire, France. The wedding ceremony took place at the Chteau de Cande and no member of the British Royal family attended because they disapproved of the marriage. Nonetheless, the king gave up his crown to marry Simpson. They remained together until his death in 1972.

1929 - Actors Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Joan Crawford, in New York City. Fairbanks Jr. proposed to Crawford on New Year's Eve in Long Beach, New York. They married in a religious ceremony at St. Malachy's Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan and spent their honeymoon at the Algonquin Hotel.

June 4

2000 - Director James Cameron and Suzy Amis, in Malibu, Calif. The two met on the set of Cameron's film "Titanic" which Cameron directed and Amis played Lizzy, the granddaughter of protagonist, Rose. The couple has three children together - Claire, Quinn and Elizabeth Rose. This was the second marriage for Amis and the fifth for Cameron.

1986 - Singer Bob Dylan and Carolyn Y. Dennis, in California. Dylan's marriage to Dennis was kept secret for nearly six years and only revealed by a British author, Howard Soundes. The two married after Dennis gave birth to the singer's daughter.

1978 - Radio host Howard Stern and Alison Berns, in Brookline, Mass. Stern married college sweetheart Alison Berns at Ohabei Shalom, a Reform synagogue. The two were both 24 years old at the time. They divorced in 2001. They have three daughters together, Emily Beth, Debra Jennifer and Ashley Jade.

1970 - Actor Billy Crystal and dancer Janice Goldfinger. Crystal met and fell in love with Goldfinger, a dancer, when he majoring in theatre at Nassau Community College in Long Island, N.Y. The couple has two daughters together, Lindsay and Crystal.

1960 - Actors Marlon Brando and Movita Castaneda. Brando married Castaneda, a Mexican actress seven years his senior. The two separated in 1962. The couple had two children together, Miko and Rebecca.

June 5

2004 - Actors/singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, in Beverly Hills, Calif. Anthony and Lopez were married in an intimate ceremony at Lopez's opulent Beverly Hills residence. Only 40 family and friends watched as the couple exchanged their wedding vows. The bride wore a Vera Wang ivory lace gown and an estimated $7 million worth of gems on a Neil Lane necklace, bracelet and earrings. The groom wore an all-white Armani suit and diamond cufflinks. The reception featured a live salsa band and guests dined on Cuban-style cuisine from the Lopez's own restaurant, Madre's. The couple filed for divorce in April 2012.

1999 - Actors Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, in Charleston, S.C. Phillippe first met Witherspoon at her 21st birthday party in 1997. The day after the party, he left to work on a film, keeping in touch with her through phone calls and letters. They went on their first date 5 weeks after they met. Phillippe proposed to Witherspoon while the two were on vacation at The Planter's Inn in Charleston with a Neil Lane, four-carat Asscher-cut-diamond platinum ring. The young actors were married at the Wide Awake Plantation beside a river. The couple split in 2007.

1993 - Music executive Tommy Mottola and singer Mariah Carey, in New York City. Mottola and Carey professed their love for each other in a lavish New York City wedding modeled after the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Celebrities in attendance included singers Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen and actor Robert De Niro. Carey wore a Vera Wang gown with a 27-foot train. The high-profile event included 200 security personnel, 300 guests and a wedding party that included 47 flower girls. The estimated cost for the affair was $500,000. Mottola and Carey divorced in 1998.

1974 - Singer Sly Stone and Kathy Silva, in New York City. The singer married Kathy Silva on stage at Madison Square Garden prior to a Sly and the Family Stone performance in front of 20,000 fans, gaining massive media attention. A lush wedding reception at the Waldorf-Astoria followed the concert and was attended by Miles Davis, Andy Warhol and Edgar Winter.

June 6

2007 - Singer Melanie Brown and producer Stephen Belafonte, in Las Vegas. Belafonte and former Spice Girls member Brown began dating while Brown was pregnant with comedian Eddie Murphy's child. The two later wed in a secret ceremony and renewed their vows in front of friends and families the next year.

1976 - Football player Terry Bradshaw and figure skater Jo Jo Starbuck, in Los Angeles. Bradshaw and Starbuck were married in front of 200 guests at the posh Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles.
